Our Story
The Restaurant Alm in Furi above Zermatt has been an integral part of mountain gastronomy for many years. It is particularly appreciated for its mountain trout from its own pond and its simple Alpine cuisine.
In December 2025, a young team from the Alpine Hotel Perren will take over the restaurant and continue to run it. The well-known traditions, above all the trout and the cozy atmosphere, will remain unchanged. At the same time, new ideas and a fresh perspective will be incorporated into everyday life.
The Restaurant Alm is thus continuing to develop without losing its original character.
Location
Above Zermatt and is easily accessible all year round on foot, on skis in winter, and by bike in summer. The large sun terrace with views of the Zermatt countryside invites you to take a break and makes the Restaurant Alm a pleasant stopover in the middle of the alpine surroundings.

As your hosts, we are here for you all day long! We serve alpine delicacies on the terrace or organize our ALM hut evenings with fondue, drinks, and a sleigh ride back to Zermatt.
